Challenge
Lux were asked to produce a series of evening outdoor graduation ceremonies for Murdoch University, which required all facilities to be built on campus. Due to the likelihood of inclement weather, a full contingency plan need to be implemented.
Solution
Lux created a huge temporary sheltered stage in the Bush Court capable of seating over 70 staff and heads of school, which incorporated a huge 15m screen for live camera and awards information, a massive proscenium arch made of LED panels for information presentation. A full backup plan utilising the Riverside Theatre at Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre was also used on a number of occasions due to poor weather.
Results
The entire series of graduation ceremonies went without a hitch, and finished with a spectacular celebration of fireworks and high energy video graphics.
