We are expanding our team and searching for a passionate, driven Technical Director who shares our passion for pushing the boundaries. This role is responsible for contributing to the creative development of event design and overseeing the event delivery from installation, show to pack down. Its a demanding and extremely rewarding position.

Contributing to the event’s creative concept development with respect to the technical production, sets and staging design.
Reviewing the event and design briefs and interpreting this into a creative technical solution.
Reviewing the event script, making notes for the technical team and show calling the technical operator cues on the event.
On site management of the production teams.
Managing strict OH&S and Risk Management protocols.
Contributing to driving on-going change initiatives in the organisation.
Leading team support and positivity within the workplace.
Staying abreast of the latest technical innovations.
Minimum of five years experience in a similar role.
CAD experience is favourable. Vectorworks preferred.
AV technical experience.
High level of computer skills (Word, Excel, CAD). Apple MAC platform.
Excellent time management skills to manage uncompromising time-frames.
Creative problem solving under pressure.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to motivate and organise teams to deliver results.
Ability to build rapport with people at different levels, experience and backgrounds.
High interpersonal skills.
Very high levels of attention to detail.
Sometimes long hours, nights and weekends.
