Lighten your carbon footprint by contributing to our Carbon Conscious tree planting program.

By partnering with carbon offset provider Carbon Conscious Limited, we can help you make your event ‘carbon conscious’. Select our tree planting option at the time of booking to positively contribute to the environment by offsetting carbon emissions produced at your event through the planting of Mallee Eucalypt trees.

The trees, which are native to Australia, will be planted permanently in the Wheatbelt Region and maintained by Carbon Conscious Ltd through their Carbon Capture Program ™.
The position of planting is also designed to help reduce the impact of dryland salinity, provide natural shelter for stock and wildlife, improve the aesthetics of the area and to establish a new industry for farmers to derive additional income.

By participating you also receive a certificate highlighting your contribution to the program to display at your event.
 

Putting it into perspective

Carbon offset programs are a positive way for businesses and individuals to help reduce the impact of their emissions by helping fund emission reduction schemes. The average person driving a medium-sized vehicle will expend about four tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere over 12 months.

Industry averages indicate that to produce one carbon credit, approximately five trees need to be planted. This means 20 trees need to be planted to offset the carbon liability of this vehicle for 12 months.
